Hozpitality - Greeter/Cashier

Description Hosts/Greeters are responsible for welcoming and creating the first impression for the restaurant guests. These individuals have the ability to influence the overall restaurant experience by their interactions that include providing table accommodations and offering menu recommendations, and informing guests of any specialty information. Additionally, Hosts/Greeters may be the final point of contact and must ensure overall guest satisfaction. This role will be responsible for overseeing the venue's reservation systems, including taking, modifying and canceling reservations. Additional responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, problem solving and troubleshooting guest concerns, maintaining a quality overall experience, including ambiance, music, and professionalism. If you have worked as a restaurant host or restaurant hostess, your skills are invaluable to the position of Greeter at Hyatt. This full-time opportunity is looking for flexible availability to potentially include AM and PM Shifts between our two restaurants. • A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment. • Previous experience as Restaurant Host/Greeter preferred • Experience with reservations systems (SevenRooms, OpenTable, Resy, Etc.)• Refined verbal communication skills • Ability to stand for long periods of time • Ability to lift, pull, and push a minimum amount of weight (about10 pounds)• Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
