Lead Retail Associate, Starbucks (Full Time) University of Notre Dame The University of Notre Dame ( ND.jobs ) is accepting applications for a Lead Retail Associate, Starbucks (Full Time) . Applications will be accepted until 06/28/2024.

The University of Notre Dame Enterprises and Events (UEE) division is currently hiring for the position of Lead Retail Associate at Starbucks within the Huddle Food Court. The UEE division leads the University's event management, hospitality, and customer service functions while supporting student life, academic endeavors, and research initiatives. Why this position?
The Lead Retail Associate provides the Notre Dame community and guests with the very best in foods and services. This person will make all guests feel welcome by providing a warm, friendly atmosphere and being responsive to the changing needs and desires of our customers. Retail Associates at the Huddle Food Court prepare a variety of food and beverage items in a multi-unit food and beverage operation. Essential duties include:

  • Produce food and beverage items
  • Responsible for proper use of equipment
  • Conform with HAACP regulations on a daily basis
  • Assign tasks to retail associates and cooks
  • Check performance ensuring customer satisfaction through quality service
  • Ensure sanitation and safety requirements are met
  • Train retail associates on tasks necessary for the position
  • Recommend service enhancements and ensuring all brand standards are met
  • Set up and clean up of small operations
  • Responsible for ordering and inventory control
  • Work directly with the management team to insure COGS are at or below set targets
  • Certified or actively pursuing brand certification in all units
  • Must pass Serv-safe and AllerTrain examinations and have the ability to run a shift without a manager present

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 1-2 years experience
