Loan Set-up - Redisclosure Specialist

Position Summary:

The Loan Set-Up Redisclosure Specialist is responsible for reviewing incoming loan files for completeness, accuracy, and compliance to support the loanDepot Operations team in addition to preparing updated mortgage disclosures.

Responsibilities:

• Initiates loan set-up process to ensure service levels are within defined acceptable levels.
• Conducts appropriate validations and verification of data.
• Provides feedback to operations and sales management on file quality and solutions for process improvement.
• Monitors daily reports for departments to ensure Loan Estimates are prepared and issued to the borrower within department service levels.
• Analyzes the fee changes in order to determine if change can be passed along to the borrower or will need to be absorbed by loanDepot.
• Issues loan disclosures within agency, federal/state and company guidelines and regulations.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 1 year experience in the Mortgage industry.
• Customer Service experience required.
• Detail oriented and strong organizational skills.
• Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office applications including but not limited to Word, Excel, Outlook & PowerPoint.
