Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organisation:
Support the development of an integrated, horizontal marketing communication approach for select US Sports product concepts and key sport moments to create demand for the adidas brand.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create & execute comms plans with consistent and clear objectives / KPIs for reach, resonance and reactions.
- Support development of communication tools from conception to implementation, ensuring all projects are on brief, on budget and meet brand standards.
- Assist with management of global and local agencies across projects and activities for the business unit: agency briefing process and development of concepts and creative elements.
- Collaborate with local markets and global brand comms on the activation of annual category plans.
- Support consistency across all sport categories to ensure clear adidas US sports takeaways that ladder to the overall strategy
- Support horizontal planning for brand communication function within BU
- Oversee seasonal sample process in support of photoshoots, partner seeding, key moments on behalf of US Sports
- Support precap and recap process in accordance to NAM Activation Planning Process by tracking US Sports projects, collating results, learnings and best practice sharing
- Maintain, track and manage budget for brand communications function within BU

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities :
- Ability to influence without authority by building productive relationships with constituents.
- Good understanding of consumer behavior , brand building, demand creation, digital, and planning.
- Strong marketing experience (i.e. communications, campaign development and execution, ecommerce, digital).
- Understanding of an ever-changing marketing landscape and strong experience in project management.
- Ability to influence and collaborate with internal and external multidisciplinary groups: product marketing, design, advertising, PR, digital, retail, events, consumer engagement, ecom, newsroom etc.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Understanding of and passion for the sports industry inclusive of NCAA.
Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
- Degree in Marketing, Communications, Retail, Digital or a related field.
- 3+ years’ industry and / or relevant work experience.
