Job Description - Marketing Associate

Pacific Golf & Turf is Northwest’s premium supplier of John Deere and EZGO Golf Cart products.  We have an awesome opportunity for an individual who is a TEAM player. As a marketing associate, you will support and contribute to the creation and execution of marketing initiatives for Pacific Golf & Turf. You will also help support the sales team with duties ranging from in-person participation at customer facing events, lead qualification, and acting as a conduit between customers and salespeople via our social media accounts.
Duties in this role will vary based on the organization’s current needs and prioritization of projects. You will work closely with the Director of Retail/Commercial Sales and Marketing and the VP of Sales and Marketing to determine your priorities and focus. 
Duties/Responsiblities:
  • Marketing Projects
    • Participate in and take responsibility for a wide range of marketing and sales support projects.
  • Design and Content Creation
    • Create marketing deliverables such as html emails, flyers, mailers, web page design.
  • Manage website listings.
    • Work with Marketing Manager to maintain presentation of website.
    • Assist with posting vehicles to the website (new orders and refurb center)
  • Facebook Marketplace
    • Ensure web listings are meeting criteria for Facebook Marketplace
    • Assist with getting Facebook Marketplace leads to appropriate sales rep.
  • Social Media (content)
    • Create a schedule with weekly postings for each location on both Facebook & Instagram
    • Create a schedule with weekly postings for each department across all platforms.
  • Branch Responsibilities
    • Cover the branch for retail sales and customer walk-ins on an as needed basis.
REQUIREMENTS:
  • Marketing college degree required.
  • Formal design experience a plus, but not required. Candidate must have an aptitude and eye for design. Many of the tools we use today are web based and do not require experience with the more robust design tools such as Adobe Illustrator or Photoshop. Examples of programs include Canva, MailChimp, Vista print, etc.
  • Must be a team player, that is organized, can multi-task and prioritize their workload. 
  • Must be a problem solver, with the ability to recognize problems and recommend solutions.
  • Must have experience with Microsoft Word and Excel, and the ability to learn new computer programs.
Compensation & Benefits
  • Compensation: $22 - $26 per hour DOE
  • FLSA Status:  Non-exempt, Hourly Position
  • Full time position – 5 days per week
  • Hours: Day shift, Tuesday – Saturday 8:00 am – 4:30 pm
