Job Description - Media Strategy Lead

Media Strategy Lead As a Media Strategy Lead , you will manage the planning and implementation of assigned onsite campaigns. You will assist in the day-to-day management of the media agency, ensuring campaigns are aligned with business objectives and deliver against goals, on time and on budget. You will work directly with internal partners, representing media processes and best practices. This role is hybrid, which means you will work some days at a Best Buy location and some days virtually from home or another non-Best Buy location. The specific work arrangements vary by role and team. The recruiter or hiring manager will provide more details during the hiring process. What you’ll do
  • Manage the media planning process from planning through implementation for assigned onsite campaigns
  • Partner with internal partners and media agency on creation and execution of campaigns, ensuring campaigns deliver against goals while adhering to established guidelines
  • Steward the end-to-end process including media plan deliverables, budgets, approvals, and documentation
  • Understand and communicate drivers of campaign performance to internal and external partners
  • Support strategic planning and team projects across additional paid and owned media channels, as needed
Basic qualifications
  • 2 years of experience with digital media strategy, planning and/or buying in an agency, advertiser, or publisher setting
  • 2 years of digital media experience
  • 2 years of experience managing campaign budgets
  • Project coordination skills including rigorous attention to detail, critical-thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Curious and eagerness to learn, desire to stay current on industry trends, tools and business opportunities
Preferred qualifications
  • 2 years of experience with retail media network, programmatic display and/or social campaign execution
  • An understanding of building and managing digital media campaigns in a buying platform
  • Experience with omni-channel media programs for a national, retail brand or retail media network
  • Advanced PC Skills to include all Microsoft Office products, and experience with Salesforce
