Job Description - Regional External Wholesaler

Leveraging an open architecture framework, we collaborate with leading asset managers to offer a diverse range of investment products. As we continue to expand, we are seeking a passionate and driven individual to join us as a Regional Managing Director. Your Impact: In this role, you will play a pivotal part in distributing our investment products and solutions, with a focus on open-ended funds sub-advised by prominent industry partners. Your efforts will contribute significantly to our growth trajectory, shaping the future of our organization and empowering clients to achieve their financial goals. Your Responsibilities: - Drive sales growth and enhance asset retention across various retail channels, including wirehouses, independent broker-dealers, bank trusts, and RIAs.
- Provide strategic consulting and support to financial advisors and clients, fostering strong relationships and promoting our offerings.
- Cultivate brand awareness and sales through regular visits to retail channels within your region, building meaningful connections and identifying new business opportunities.
- Develop and execute business strategies tailored to your territory, optimizing resource allocation and expense management.
- Represent MassMutual Investments at industry conferences and events, showcasing our expertise and value propositions. Minimum Qualifications: - Bachelor's Degree
- 5+ years of external sales experience in mutual fund distribution or asset management
- 1+ years of experience with Morningstar Direct and Salesforce
- Series 7 & 63 licenses
- Ability to travel up to 80% within territory Preferred Qualifications: - Strong technical proficiency and excellent communication skills
- Established relationships within retail channels, including wirehouses, independent broker-dealers, and RIAs
- Ability to understand client needs and market demands, with strong problem-solving skills
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively within diverse teams What We Offer: - Competitive base salary ranging from $120k to $130k, with a sales-based incentive opportunity
