The salary range for this position is $70,000 - $87,749 per year based upon a San Francisco location. Offered salary is dependent upon experience and location. Role Summary: We are seeking an enthusiastic Junior Recruiter to join our dynamic Talent Acquisition team. This role is perfect for someone with a strong interest in the beauty industry and a talent for identifying and engaging with potential candidates. As part of your role, you will take charge of recruiting efforts for entry-level full-time roles across various departments and manage temporary staffing requirements. You will play a crucial part in sourcing passive candidates through innovative strategies and building diverse talent pipelines that reflect Kendo's dedication to equity, inclusion and diversity. Additionally, you will support recruitment operations working on a range of projects for the Talent Acquisition team. Key Responsibilities:
  • Utilize LinkedIn Recruiter, social channels, and other platforms to conduct research and outreach efforts aimed at identifying passive candidates suitable for Kendo's open positions.
  • Collaborate closely with hiring managers to gain insight into current vacancies across all Kendo brands while preparing strategies to attract high-caliber talent in line with Kendo's culture.
  • Work with hiring managers, temp agencies and third party providers to manage and recruit for temporary positions across a wide range of positions and levels. Help to manage the relationships with third party agencies and insure smooth onboarding for temp hires.
  • Engage in preliminary discussions with candidates to provide them with essential details about available roles while effectively communicating Kendo's core values.
  • Create robust candidate pipelines that support our objective of fostering diverse talent pools suitable for various organizational levels.
  • Track sourcing activities and analyze data related to these efforts to assess their success rate; suggest and implement improvements accordingly. Prepare reporting for a variety of talent acquisition activities
  • Participate In the planning, as well as recruitment for Kendo's annual summer internship program to drive early career talent as well as diversity recruitment outreach. Built connections with colleges to support Kendo's recruitment efforts.
  • Execute special projects that aid in enhancing the overall function of Talent Acquisition within Kendo.
Requirements:
  • 2-4 years of experience within Talent Acquisition or recruitment/staffing agency focused on sourcing passive candidates and placement of temporary and/or fulltime hires. .
  • A Bachelor's degree in business, communications or similar field or equivalent work experience is preferred.
  • Proficiency with LinkedIn Recruiter is mandatory along with familiarity using applicant tracking systems such as ADP RM. Experience leveraging social media channels for recruitment purposes is also expected.
  • Demonstrated ability in building diverse candidate networks.
  • A curious mind that thrives on deep research, acquiring knowledge about new roles quickly, and asking questions when necessary.
  • A strong advocate for inclusive hiring practices reflecting equity and diversity principles.
  • Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal - with proven ability in fostering relationships internally within teams as well as externally with potential candidates and organizations alike.
  • Outstanding organizational skills with an ability to thrive in ambiguity. Well-acquainted with MS Office Suite applications alongside LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, and other recruitment portals.
  • Passion for the beauty industry and helping others build careers is a must! Interest in pursuing a career within the beauty industry is highly desirable.
  • Must be available to work a hybrid work schedule of 3 days/week in the San Francisco office and 2 days/week remote.
