Department: Sales and Service

Reports To: West Coast Retail Manager

FLSA Status: N on-Exempt

Compensation Base Range: $22 .00-$23 .00 Hourly

This role is based in Moreno Valley, California, in our newest warehouse location, conveniently located in a prime location. ABOUT THE ROLE:

The retail specialist will work closely with other retail and commercial specialist peers, under supervision from the West Coast Retail Manager. This role will involve high amounts of face-to-face interaction with customers in a retail showroom setting. The retail specialist will be confident in their ability to assis t and close sales for all products sold by REP. In addition to face-to-face interaction, the retail specialist will assis t customers virtually, both through phone calls and emails when applicable. They should be confident in their ability to navigate basic computer functions and be able to learn the basics of complex customer and warehouse management systems.

Full time: Tuesday - Saturday from 9AM to 5PM

Starting Schedule:

Monday - off , Tuesday - 9:00am-5:00pm , Wednesday - 9:00am-5:00pm , Thursday - 9:00am-5:00pm , Friday - 9:00am-5:00pm , Saturday - 9:00am-5:00pm , Sunday - off

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: include the following. Other duties may be assigned .

  • Provide world-class service to our in-store customers.
  • Assist customers with selection of gym equipmen t by mainta ining thorough knowledge of all products.
  • Assist in loading the order after being selected by warehouse staff.
  • Maintain a clean showroom to provide customers with an optimal shopping experience.
  • Process sales orders , returns and exchanges.
  • Respond promptly to customer inquiries and issues via email or phone when not assisting an in-store customer.
  • Record details of actions taken with customers in CRM.
  • Participate in ongoing product training to remain up to date with REPs newest products.

  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals . Ability to write routine reports and correspondence . Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization .
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
  • Have a basic understanding of Microsoft Office programs such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint , or equivalent programs.
  • Be able to quickly learn how to navigate and use complex warehouse management systems and customer relation management systems.
  • Be able to do simple technical troubleshooting for computers, phones, and other personal devices.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is constantly required to sit and use hands to operate the telephone , type and operate the computer and mouse. The employee is frequently required to talk, hear, and bend and tw ist neck. The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds and rarely lift and/or move up to 150 pounds ass isted . Specific v ision abilities required by this job include close vision and distance vision.
