Job Overview:

Carver 47 is in search of a versatile and enthusiastic individual to fill our combined role of Host & Retail Associate. This unique position is at the heart of our dining and retail experience, requiring a dynamic individual who can manage our environment and guest experience with skillful service and attentive care. The ideal candidate will be someone who takes pride in creating a welcoming atmosphere through meticulous attention to detail, from the ambiance to the freshness and variety of our market offerings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Guest Experience Management: Warmly welcome guests upon arrival, efficiently manage waitlists and reservations, and provide table service with a focus on creating a memorable dining experience.

• Environment Setup: Engage in setting the ambiance for our guests through careful selection of music and aromatherapy, ensuring our space always feels welcoming and vibrant.

• Table Management: Clean and set tables with precision and care, ensuring all dining areas are ready and inviting for our guests.

• Market Maintenance: Take responsibility for opening and closing market inventory checks, ensuring the variety and freshness of our offerings. This includes the occasional flower installation to enhance the aesthetic appeal of our space.

• Plant & Flower Care: Water and tend to plants, contributing to the overall pleasant and green environment of Carver 47.

• Station Setup: Efficiently set up your station for the next day’s service, preparing all necessary materials and tools in advance. Includes ensuring all linens are clean and ready for service with utensils.

Qualifications:

• A passion for hospitality and providing top-notch guest service.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a warm and engaging personality.
• Previous experience in hospitality, retail, or a customer service role is preferred.
• Ability to work flexibly, including weekends and holidays.
