Retail Operations Specialist, RI and MA

This is a permanent opportunity for someone looking to build a career in retail management.  This is not a temp assignment. Adecco is currently recruiting for a career-minded individual to work as a Retail Operations Specialist for a major hospitality company with locations across southern New England and upstate New York.  Candidates must be able to travel throughout the territory.  The pay range is $40,000-$50,000, plus bonus. • At least 2 years of experience in a retail merchandising, preferably in hospitality. 

• High School Diploma or equivalent.

• Knowledge of MS Office (word, excel).

• Experience reading planograms.

• Inventory management experience.

• Ability to travel around the region as needed. (Driver’s license, reliable vehicle).

• Lifting up to 50 lbs.

• Ability to communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing.

• Ability to work independently and without supervision. 

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Job Duties 

• Capitalize on space to communicate the brand while meeting corporate visual, cleanliness and safety standards. 

• Hands-on building of displays, shelving, and erecting signage as needed.

• Travel between stores in SE Massachusetts and Rhode Island.

• Manage inventory levels to avoid both excessive stock and shortages. 

• Train/instruct store associates on inventory processes as needed.

• TAG Management and TAG reset
