Job Description - Retail Store Manager

Feeders Pet Supply is hiring for a full-time Store Manager to guide a retail store and provide excellent customer service to our retail guests. This retail position earns a competitive wage .

ABOUT YOUR CAREER

  • Provide overall leadership and direction to ensure the store is managed in accordance with our business culture of providing optimum customer satisfaction while creating an atmosphere of mutual trust and respect for our employees.
  • Responsible for managing the staffing requirements to meet overall sales objectives; work within the parameters set by the President (i.e., payroll budget).
  • Implement customer service requirements for the store to ensure our customers have a positive experience with Feeders Supply.
  • Manage the overall staffing requirements to ensure the store has adequate, trained employees to meet business needs, especially during peak or seasonal periods.
  • Responsible for hiring all store personnel.
  • Responsible for preparing weekly store schedule.
  • Responsible for approving and submitting payroll hours to Accounting Department bi-weekly.
  • Perform store merchandising activities
  • Open/close store.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT

  • This position requires working in both the internal and external environment.
  • This position requires working in both hot and cold temperatures.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND TRAINING

  • Three to Five (3-5) years of Retail Store Management experience, preferably in the Pet Food industry.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office programs, cash register, calculator, copier, and fax machine.
  • Experience working with retail POS systems and Inventory systems.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation to perform regularly.
