Ace Hardware is seeking an Assistant Softlines Buyer

The Softlines Data Input Specialist position presents an excellent opportunity to play a pivotal role in maintaining precise data for our clothing and footwear departments. Engage in the core of retail operations, ensuring accuracy, while also proficiently managing a range of office tasks to uphold operational efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Adjust retail pricing and costs for assigned departments
• Assist with receiving issues related to orders
• Daily data input and management
• Schedule reorders to vendors
• Set up accounts and manage orders with new vendors
• Support office organizational tasks
• Adapt to additional tasks as they arise
• Multitask data input alongside other office duties

Requirements:

• Proficient in MS Excel for data input
• Interpret technical rules and regulations
• Execute precise purchasing tasks with judgment and confidentiality
• Maintain and prepare records and reports
• Provide courteous assistance to staff and public
• Foster effective working relationships
• Strong quantitative, analytical, and decision-making skills
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities
• Flexibility to work varied hours in a fast-paced environment
