Fritzy's Roller Skate Shop at Skateworld Tacoma in Fircrest, WA is looking for a store manager to join our amazing team. We are located at 2073 W Mildred St. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, ambitious, and engaged.

Store Manager

We are looking for a results driven retail Store Manager to be responsible for the overall store management. The successful candidate will be able to enhance customer satisfaction, meet sales and profitability goals and manage staff effectively. Candidates will have the most success if they have a background in financial planning, employee recruitment or retail management.

Store Manager Position Pay

Pay is $20 per hour plus commission.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Lead sales effort in the store by creating a five-star customer service experience.
• Drives sales through engagement of customers, suggestive selling, and sharing product knowledge.
• Merchandise displays effectively. 
• Stays current with market and roller skating trends communicating as needed to appropriate parties to capitalize on business opportunities.
• Displays product knowledge.
• Understand and execute initiatives that affect all aspects of the store including sales statistics, inventory and expenses that together produce profit.
• Collaborates with managers as needed to drive business by establishing and implementing policies, goals and procedures.
• Works with the Marketing team to create in-store events and promotions.
• Leads staff to ensure accountability for all responsibilities and standards in each department are completed.
• Attract, recruit, develop, coach, and evaluate the performance of Fritzy's employees.
• Assists with inventory, including receiving, ordering and stocking merchandise.
• Keeps clientele informed by notifying them of preferred customer sales and future merchandise of potential interest.
• Maintain a clean, attractive and safe shop environment.
• Alerts management of potential issues.
• Protect the company’s assets and financial information by ensuring the accuracy and effectiveness of internal control procedures and informing management and/or appropriate officials of potential fraud risk.

• BS degree or 2 years relevant experience

Work Environment

This position involves working in a fast-paced environment with standing and/or walking for prolonged periods of time. This role routinely uses standard retail equipment including box cutters, computers, and iPads.
