The compensation philosophy reflects the Company’s reasonable expectation at the time of posting.  We consider a number of factors when making individual compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, and other business needs.  This role may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary incentive program, subject to the rule governing the program.  

 

Position Summary: 

The Account Executive I leads customer relationships and partners with the Operations and Sales Teams to influence annual plans in support of business objectives. The Account Executive I also acts as an expert on strategy, business systems, and operating philosophy for national customers internally and across the system. The Account Executive I ensures flawless execution of programs throughout the organization, working across functions including Finance, Revenue Growth Management, Commercial Leadership, Product Supply and Field Sales. 

 

Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:  

  • Acts as the collaborative customer contact lead to influence assigned customers 
  • Develops Annual Business Plan that aligns company growth and customer strategy.  
  • Responsible for customer price package plan decisions to achieve key strategic performance indicators and customer goals 
  • Acts as internal Retail Sales customer expert, providing input based on customer strategies and insights to inform future Commercial Strategy for year over year growth 
  • Works directly with Field Leadership, Supply Chain and other partners through effective communication to ensure execution of strategies 
  • Influences people, processes, and resources to meet company strategic priorities 
  • Other projects or duties as assigned 

Required Skills and Experience:  

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Marketing, or related field with 4+ years of sales experience OR High School Diploma with 7+ years of sales and 2+ years of supervisory experience 
  • Advanced experience in Microsoft Applications specifically including Excel and PowerPoint 
  • Demonstrated progressive sales experience with account management in large consumer goods organization 
  • Complex selling knowledge with proven ability to create and sell-in customer specific promotional programs and key initiatives 
  • Knowledge of bottler and fountain environment and systems and business development planning experience 
  • Proven ability to manage needs and concerns of multiple stakeholders across various business systems 
  • Experience forecasting sales 
  • Travel - up to 35% 
  • Must be able to pass a post-offer background and drug test 

Preferred Skills and Experience:  

  • MBA or other graduate degree 
  • 2+ years cross-functional experience outside of Sales (e.g., Commercial Leadership, Supply Chain, Field Execution)
