HoSt offers total solutions for bio-energy installations where renewable energy is created from a digestible feedstock. HoSt is a fast-growing company who is looking to immediately bring onboard an Area Sales Manager to augment our sales resource base. Our ideal candidate has five years of sales experience in the biogas industry or relatable field and will relish the opportunity to expand our customer base in North America. JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Develop collaborative, long-term relationships with current and prospective clients & partners;
  • Develop an effective sales plan and strategy to meet or exceed sales goals;
  • Develop and nurture new market opportunities in dairy, WWTP, SSO, food & beverage, farming/agriculture, and more;
  • Secure profitable project sales and hand these over to our project realization team for seamless project execution and installation of waste to energy equipment, including anaerobic digesters and biogas conditioning and valorization technologies;
  • Continuous conduct research to identify new sales opportunities, new product opportunities and trending consumer needs in related industries;
  • Monitor sales and profit for each account;
  • Prepare account profiles for company accounts;
  • Write clear and informative periodic reports to CSO on sales operations;
  • Complete a risk assessment on each project prior to contract negotiations;
  • Negotiate contracts with clients in the process of securing deals;
  • Establish and maintain strong working relationships with key suppliers and vendors where appropriate;
  • Monitor competitor activities and activity on major accounts.
  • Main up to date records on our CRM systems for all activities in our pipeline.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science and/or business-related discipline;
  • 5 or more years of sales experience;
  • Experience with a long sales cycle and project type sales;
  • Experience working with OEMs and equipment manufacturers in some capacity;
  • Experience working with EPC and General Contractors;
  • First-class consultative sales skills (credentials from a commercial sales training program is a plus);
  • Work experience within the following industries is a plus: Biogas/Anaerobic Digestion, Waste/Wastewater Treatment, or Agriculture;
  • Proven record of effectively meeting sales quotas;
  • Excellent communication skills , along with excellent presentation skills;
  • Strong numerical and analytical abilities;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, such as Word and Excel;
  • Ability to travel up to 30% in North America (U.S., Canada);
  • Ability to work at least 50% of the time in-office in Vancouver, WA;
  • Ability to work in U.S. without sponsorship.

  • Salary range: $115,000 - 120,000 / Year
