Our Award Winning Client: Our esteemed client, recognized for their excellence in the industry and operating nationally, is seeking a Director of Sales for their dynamic team at Oracle Park, home of the San Francisco Giants.

Job Description:

The Director of Sales is entrusted with leading the comprehensive food and beverage operations at Oracle Park, ensuring seamless coordination of catering orders, special events, and departmental administration. This pivotal role requires a blend of managerial expertise, sales acumen, and technical proficiency.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic marketing initiatives to drive sales and enhance customer engagement.
  • Oversee the entire catering process, including event bookings, menu selection, pricing strategies, and team supervision.
  • Foster strong client relationships and provide exceptional customer service to meet and exceed client expectations.
  • Implement service standards and ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry best practices.
  • Lead and mentor sales team members to achieve sales targets and deliver exceptional results.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for business growth and operational efficiency.
  • Manage financial aspects of the department, including budgeting, forecasting, and revenue tracking.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and competitor activities to capitalize on market opportunities.
  • Facilitate contract negotiations and drive revenue growth through effective sales strategies.
  • Maintain accurate reporting and documentation of sales activities and performance metrics.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
  • Minimum of 2-4 years of managerial experience in a similar role.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a customer-centric approach.
