As the Group Area Sales Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in overseeing the selling, planning, and coordination of events at our exciting location in Ashland. Key Responsibilities: Maximize event revenues to exceed sales goals and budgets through effective negotiation and strategic planning.
Collaborate with our Social Media Director to create engaging content and promotions on various platforms.
Develop and implement a comprehensive sales and marketing plan to achieve departmental revenue goals.
Handle inbound/outbound sales calls to various group types, ensuring exceptional customer service.
Provide inside sales support for group planning and maintain qualified contacts through our system.
Produce monthly activity reports and actively participate in meetings to drive action plans.
Work with our marketing team to sell, manage, and produce sales collateral for different events.
Travel for trade shows and other events as assigned, representing our brand and forging partnerships.
Maintain accurate financial records for programs and events, and cultivate strong client relationships.
Act as the ambassador for our property, fostering relationships with individuals and corporations to drive repeat business.
