Job Description - HVAC Sales Consultant

Looking to TRADE up to a better opportunity? Dilling Heating, Cooling, Plumbing, and electrical is looking for a self-motivated individual with a positive attitude to join our growing sales team as a   Comfort Advisor/HVAC Sales Representative.   The ideal candidate will have 5+ years experience in a sales role, and 1+ years of HVAC. The Comfort Advisor is a dynamic sales position focused on in-home sales of heating and cooling equipment. Sales leads will come from a mix of our outbound marketing efforts, and technician generated leads; this is not a cold-calling position, though occasional outbound calls will be made.. They is responsible for handling their clients from the start of the process, through installation, and for maintaining contact between the client and the organization for the entire process.

What you will do:

  • Visiting customers homes and presenting them with their best options for HVAC replacement.
  • Build quotes and follow up with customers to assist in moving sales/project forward.
  • Maintain high customer satisfaction by answering any questions, concerns, or issues that the client may have.
  • Stay current on new products and technologies in the field.
  • Answer any customer questions and inform them of any pertinent information about their equipment.

  • Honesty integrity, quality craftsmanship and a good attitude
  • Clear background check and drug screen
  • Extremely personable and ability to interact with a variety of different people
  • Proficient in both verbal and written communication
  • Coachable; willingness to learn and try new sales techniques as needed
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
  • Ability to handle heavy equipment
  • Ability to work outdoors

Job Type: Full-time

 

Salary: $80,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year

  • Deliver a great client experience by educated them on way we can improve the health, safety and comfort of their home environment
  • Answer any customer questions and inform them of any pertinent information about their equipment.
  • Communicate daily with the sales coordinator, and/or sales manager.
  • Document every call/job in an organized and detailed manner.
  • Office time required for trainings, meetings, and required follow up/prospecting.

 

  • HVAC experience is not required, but a plus
  • Proven sales experience, B2C preferred 
  • Valid driver’s license

PAY TRANSPARENCY:   

The starting salary for this opportunity ranges as it's commission-based fully. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, and market demands. Other rewards may include incentive plan opportunities and annual bonus eligibility. We provide a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO). A candidate’s salary history will not be used in compensation decisions. Please note that the compensation information is a good-faith estimate for this position. It assumes a rate based on location and experience.
