Inside Sales Rep

The primary role of the Inside Sales Rep (ISR) is to provide quotes to customer requests, process customer purchase orders, and respond to any other customer requirements. Working with internal and external company resources, the ISR must provide customer service in quoting, fulfilling orders, ensuring on-time delivery, and responding to client issues. You will function as a key liaison between suppliers and customers to ensure efficiency and accuracy. You will assist the field sales team in business development and sales on existing and new customer accounts.

Job Requirements:

• Create customer quotes and process purchase orders
• Review and verify orders including pricing, quote terms, and delivery
• Manage backlog and open order reports in GST's system or customer portals
• Track, review, and follow up on quote log and open order activities
• Process and follow up on returns and return requests.
• Identify and assess customers' needs to achieve high customer satisfaction
• Manage tactical day-to-day customer inquiries
• Assist sales team's efforts to respond, process, and document customer RFQ's
• Assist with business development
• Perform other customer service or sales requirements.

Qualifications:

• Two years of prior experience in business and/or sales
• Exceptional critical thinking skills, independent thinker, and great team player
• Strong customer communication skills
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite such as Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
• Ability to deal with a rapid paced/multitasking fast growth environment is a must
• Strong communication, documentation and presentation skills with a rigorous customer service attitude is required
• Ability to remain flexible and can shift and adjust priorities quickly and efficiently
