Weekends: Saturday & Sunday 10:30am – 10:30pm, required

What You Will Do

  • Function as a On the Job Trainer for production area; fill in for Section Leader as needed
  • Embrace Lean manufacturing tools to improve section’s performance (6s, line balancing, process waste removal, standard work, etc.)
  • Perform quality checks, enter case numbers, closing lots, identifying and recording scrap
  • Identify and appropriately report safety concerns, production issues, and documentation errors
  • Assist execution of continuous improvement projects
  • Effectively collaborate with peers, functional departments, and visitors of Stryker
  • Assist with schedule and overtime pivots
  • Effectively communicate with coworkers, and incoming/outgoing shifts on the previous shift’s performance or issues identified

What You Need :

  • High School or GED Required  
  • 2 years of Manufacturing Experience Required
  • Leadership experience preferred
  • Blueprint reading, measuring tools – calipers, micrometers, gauges preferred
  • Basic math and computer skills
