Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee and optimize our hazardous waste management operations. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leadership in the environmental services or waste management industry, with a deep understanding of regulatory requirements and best practices in handling hazardous materials. Responsibilities: * Manage day-to-day operations of hazardous waste facilities, including waste collection, transportation, treatment, and disposal, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and safety standards. * Develop and implement operational procedures and protocols to maximize efficiency, minimize risk, and maintain operational excellence. * Lead and mentor a team of operations staff, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure high performance and adherence to company policies and procedures. * Coordinate with regulatory agencies, customers, and other stakeholders to address compliance issues, resolve operational challenges, and maintain positive relationships. * Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics to track performance, identify areas for improvement, and drive continuous process optimization. * Oversee maintenance and upkeep of equipment and facilities, ensuring proper functioning and compliance with safety requirements. * Collaborate with other departments, such as sales, procurement, and finance, to support overall business objectives and strategic initiatives. Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in environmental science, engineering, business management, or related field (Master's degree preferred). * Minimum of 5 years of experience in operations management, preferably in the hazardous waste management or environmental services industry. * Strong knowledge of hazardous waste regulations (e.g., RCRA, DOT, OSHA) and experience working with regulatory agencies. * Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders. * Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on driving results and achieving operational excellence. * Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines. * Proficiency in MS Office suite and other relevant software applications.
