Job Description - Outside Sales Representative

As an Outside Sales Representative, you will be responsible for identifying and securing new clients for our fundraising events. You'll work closely with nonprofit organizations, schools, and community groups to understand their fundraising needs and offer solutions that align with our services. This role offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact while achieving personal and professional success.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct in-depth needs assessments to understand clients' fundraising goals and challenges.
  • Present our event fundraising services and solutions to prospective clients, highlighting the benefits and value proposition.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, providing ongoing support and guidance throughout the sales process.
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements with clients to secure event bookings and meet revenue targets.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including event planning and marketing, to ensure successful execution of fundraising events.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments to identify new business opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions using our CRM system.

Qualifications:

  • Proven track record of success in outside sales, with a focus on prospecting and closing deals.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence decision-makers.
  • Self-motivated and results-driven, with a passion for exceeding sales targets.
  • Ability to work independently and manage a territory effectively.
  • Previous experience in fundraising, event planning, or the nonprofit sector is a plus but not required.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field preferred.
