Zuma New York is seeking a dedicated Private Event Sales Manager to oversee event sales for our six Private Dining Rooms, driving approximately $7 million in annual sales. The role involves leading the event sales team, managing client relationships, and ensuring the seamless execution of events. This position is based onsite, with the office located at the restaurant. Celebrating 20 years since first opening its doors in London, Zuma is sophisticated twist on the traditional Japanese Izakaya style of informal eating and drinking. Co-founded by Rainer Becker and Arjun Waney in 2002, Zuma has 15 venues globally and 9 seasonal locations.
Featuring modern Japanese cuisine that is authentic but not traditional. The menu showcases a variety of dishes from its three kitchens: the main kitchen, the sushi counter and the robata grill.
JOB SUMMARY:
As Private Event Sales Manager at Zuma, you will be responsible for booking, planning, and executing events, while driving sales and ensuring exceptional guest experiences. You will collaborate with chefs, operations leaders, and other team members to seamlessly coordinate events and maintain high standards of service. The Private Events Sales Manager will help oversee the Event process from start to finish.
