Job Description:
Our multi-line insurance company client offers auto, home, business and life insurance through a network of independent agents. They are looking to add an experienced Property Field Adjuster to their team in Virginia. When not working in the field, this is a remote role. Responsibilities:

• Conduct investigations, interviews and inspections. 

• Prepare estimates, make recommendations, and handle coverage questions and litigation.

• Document claim files and submit reports for closure.

• Recognize subrogation situations and initiate appropriate actions.

• Service assigned territory and bring claims to conclusion.

• Interact with agents and district sales managers on matters of mutual concern.

• Assist the Claims Supervisor or act on his/her behalf, including representing the company at legal proceedings when necessary.

• Complete industry-related training programs and continuing education to remain informed on policy changes, interpretations or new legislation.

Requirements:

• High school diploma and 5+ years of claims handling experience or bachelor's degree and 2+ years of claims handling experience
• Ability to travel to assigned territory
