Absolutely, here's the revised job description: Join Our Team! Director, Sales Position Job Summary: Are you ready to take the lead? In this role, you'll have the exciting opportunity to oversee and guide our team of GIN Account Managers based in the US. As the Director of Sales, you'll be instrumental in driving new monthly recurring revenue (MRR) while also nurturing existing client relationships. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage a team of GIN Account Managers, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.
Drive the generation of new monthly recurring revenue (MRR) while ensuring the success of current accounts.
Collaborate with various departments including GIN Finance, Product Management, and Customer Engineering to drive revenue initiatives.
Provide deal support for renewal and upgrade opportunities, ensuring pricing approval and overall deal management.
Act as a liaison between sales and other departments, providing valuable feedback on market trends and client needs. Key Requirements: Previous experience managing a national or regional sales team is preferred.
Solid understanding of Private Peering agreements and their network implications.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a knack for teamwork.
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding team quotas.
Strong negotiation skills and ability to resolve conflicts effectively.
Technical aptitude with the ability to explain Internet technologies accurately. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field preferred.
8+ years of sales or business development experience, including complex solutions development.
5+ years of experience in Telecom and/or IP industries. Working Conditions: This is a remote/hybrid role (depending on location) with flexibility outside standard working hours.
