Job Description - Sales Business Development Center Representative

Berger Chevrolet is growing and is seeking a full-time Sales Business Development Center Representative to join our twelve-time Dealer of the Year award-winning organization. JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • This position will be responsible for generating leads, establishing and maintaining relationships with potential customers, and driving vehicle sales growth.
  • Connect with potential and current customers by utilizing various channels, such as cold and hot call(s), email, follow-up on customer inquiries related to marketing department social media campaigns, and networking events.
  • Conduct thorough assessments to understand our customers' requirements, preferences, and budget constraints.
  • Initiate and inform potential customers to provide information about our current monthly sales offerings and services.
  • Set up and confirm customer appointments with sales consultants for customers to test drive vehicles and demonstrations to highlight vehicle key features, as well as address any concerns the customer may have.
  • Follow up with potential and current customer leads to establish customer relations by addressing inquiries, overcoming objections, and guiding the customer through the sales process.
  • Manage and prioritize a pipeline of leads, tracking interactions and progress through the sales process using CRM software (E-Lead).
  • Meet or exceed monthly/quarterly sales targets and contribute to our overall organizational growth.
  • Other responsibilities may be assigned through continued employment.

DESIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent GED.
  • Prior call center experience with an emphasis on automotive BDC with a multi-line phone system is preferred.
  • Must be self-motivated and results-oriented to provide a proactive approach to lead generation and customer engagement.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to highlight customer inquiries or concerns.
  • Proficient computer skills, including CRM systems, call center software, and Microsoft Office.
  • Reliable, trustworthy, organized, and efficient.
  • Ability to operate an automobile with a valid driver's license.
  • Must allow pre-employment screenings, background, driving, and drug test.
  • Must be able to perform essential job functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation and comply with workplace health procedures as directed by the public health department.

LOCATION:

2525 28th St SE, Grand Rapids, MI, 49512. We are near great lunch spots and shopping centers and 15 minutes from the heart of Grand Rapids.
