The wage for this position is $24.03 per hour or $50,000 per year. This position is eligible for incentives making total earning potential $57,000 upon meeting targets.

This is a fully and permanently remote work from home opportunity with a growing and stable company available only in the following states across the US: AZ, FL, GA, ID, KS, LA, MI, MN, NC, NE, TX, UT, VA.

The Role

The Sales Development Representative I is the first point of connection for the entrepreneurs we work with. The role will be qualifying aspiring entrepreneurs seeking funding to determine if they may benefit from Guidant’s services. It will be responsible for a console of leads that will need to be maintained. In addition, the role is a great launching point for a career in sales or business development with plenty of growth, learning and mentorship opportunities.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Have engaging and effective phone sales presence with the ability to read and adapt to your audience
  • Ability to appropriately communicate an intangible financial service to entrepreneurs seeking funding
  • Collaborate successfully with Sales teams to optimize productivity
  • Engage and qualify entrepreneurs by helping them connect to our sales team to explore financing options
  • Connect with warm leads, taking inbound calls and/or email inquiries
  • Effectively manage a pipeline using multiple platforms of technology
  • Ability to consistently make a high volume outbound calls
  • Communicate our services clearly and be able to react to objections, competitive questions, and other FAQs
  • Proactively organize tasks, lead pipeline and campaigns to meet milestones and quarterly objectives
  • Interact professionally, both verbally and written, to customer inquiries and concerns

Additional Functions

  • Actively participate in team trainings
  • Perform other duties as required

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age
  • Previous sales experience highly desired
  • Sensitivity to others’ needs, listening skills and have the ability to quickly build rapport
  • Willingness and ability to conduct extensive outbound calls with warm leads
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
  • Commitment to being a true team player on the Sales team and part of the Guidant community
  • Ability to work in an autonomous environment where you can be a self-directed, independent worker
  • Ability to create an inclusive workplace where everyone feels a sense of belonging by empowering all our employees to speak up, ask questions, and be seen

Other Requirements

  • Must pass a background check
  • Complete continuing education based upon current certifications
  • Must meet work from home requirements to qualify
