We are looking for an experienced Sales Manager to join a strong company and team!

Sales Manager Details:

• Direct Hire position
• $85,000.00 to $120,000.00 /annually
• First Shift (Monday through Friday from 08:00am to 05:00pm)

• The Sales Manager is the company's principle point of contact in the marketplace and as such the position requires a high level of interpersonal skills, excellent written and presentation skills, and the ability to work independently and effectively with Customers and at all levels in the Organization.
• Up to 30% travel will be required, with some overnight stays required.
• The Sales Manager will participate as key member of the Company's Sales and Marketing Team in establishing Sales Strategy, Pricing Methodologies, Service Objectives and Operational deliverables, for all of the Company's West Coast Operations.
• This is a key Management role and the Sales Manager’s skills, input, and efforts will be required and solicited on a multitude of initiatives.
• Work to develop and maintain exceptional relationships with both current and potential customers.
• Develop and maintain strong, open, relationships with Customer Service members.
• Work with the President and the Sales Management Team to:
  • Establish sales objectives through Customer communications, forecasting and development of an annual sales plan for the territories and the Company. Establish, maintain, and manage selling prices by monitoring profitability, costs, and the competitive environment.
  • Generate and prospect customer leads through referrals, cold calling, and market research.
  • Qualify potential new customers for fit and creditworthiness.
  • Proactively work to ensure all customers meet company terms and conditions.
  • Work with Operations and New Product Development (NPD) to offer shape design assistance with the goal of successful production through all departments. Reporting of Sales Statistics / Sales Activities as required.

Sales Manager Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree, technical education, or combinations of equivalence.
  • Concentration in Marketing, Business, or Engineering is preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years’ experience working in a fast paced, manufacturing, process, or distribution type environment.
• A proven record of Sales management success working in a fast paced, customer focused, manufacturing, or similar, environment.
• Excellent math, English, and presentation skills working in a MS Office Environment.
• Understanding of Engineering Drawings, Material Specifications and Pricing models.
