Sales Operations Analyst
We are partnering with a pharma company who is looking for a highly motivated, analytical Sales Operations Analyst to join their team! This individual will play a crucial role in supporting the sales and commercial operations by providing insightful analysis, optimizing processes, and driving strategic initiatives to maximize sales effectiveness and efficiency.
Responsibilities
  • Streamline and optimize field-facing tools and reporting systems for efficient usage across all sales functions, ensuring comprehensive training for sales and commercial leadership.
  • Regularly produce insightful reports for sales leadership, fostering collaboration to drive actionable insights.
  • Lead the administration of sales quotas and compensation plans for various sales roles, including respiratory specialists and reimbursement managers.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for sales-related inquiries, covering incentive compensation, reporting, targeting, fleet management, and CRM systems.
  • Assist in developing strategies for healthcare professional segmentation, territory mapping, key account targeting, and overall business planning.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to recommend analytical methodologies that support effective decision-making processes.
  • Advocate for the utilization of advanced analytics to drive evidence-based decision-making and influence business strategies.
  • Conduct recurring targeting and segmentation analyses using claims-level data to inform sales strategies.
  • Apply expertise in managed care to guide data-driven decisions related to managed care strategy formulation.
  • Partner with market research teams to leverage internal and competitive intelligence, integrating findings into strategic planning across various stakeholders.
  • Ensure thorough education on reporting platforms for sales teams in collaboration with sales training.
  • Collaborate closely with commercial leadership to cultivate a competitive culture and challenge conventional practices, promoting innovation and agility in the marketplace.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 2-3 years of sales operations experience or a minimum of one year in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Prior involvement in incentive compensation planning and implementation is essential.
  • Extensive experience in sales operations and analytics supporting diverse salesforce and market access teams, encompassing incentive compensation design and administration, territory business planning, KPI tracking, and dashboard creation.
  • Strong qualitative and quantitative analytical abilities, enabling comprehensive data-driven decision-making.
  • Proficiency in business intelligence platforms, with a preference for Power BI, and advanced proficiency in MS Office applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, collaboration, and influencing skills, facilitating effective teamwork and partnership with stakeholders.
  • Ability to provide strategic insights and recommendations, serving as a valued partner to the commercial leadership team.
  • Demonstrated capability to manage multiple projects concurrently, ensuring timely and high-quality deliverables.
  • Familiarity with key pharmaceutical industry data sources and trends, enhancing strategic decision-making capabilities.
  • Willingness to travel for primary research purposes, adapting to evolving business needs and priorities.
