Sales at BASF revolves around the customer experience and driving profitable growth. The foundation for this is a strong team that brings specific application, industry and market knowledge in order to understand the diverse markets where we build trusting and satisfying customer relationships. As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for meeting and exceeding sales goals and objectives in the Professional Pest Control market, while developing customer business relationships that create long term value for BASF and our customers.  You will also be responsible for implementation and execution of field tactical activities that maintain and grow our product portfolio.  In addition, you will function as BASF’s face to our customers, as well as many other market influencers and industry partners.  

You will need to reside in (or relocate to) the Central New England area and manage a territory that consists of NY, NJ, CT, RI, MA, NH, ME, and VT, traveling up to 50% of the time. Preferred location for you to live is New York and Northern New Jersey.

As a Sales Rep (Professional Pest Control Products), You Create Chemistry By...

•    You will be growing our market and product portfolio through promoting innovations, creating solutions for customers and effectively executing field activities.
•    Developing a professional and personal skill set that will positively impact business strategy and growth.
•    Managing a Sales Territory to achieve yearly sales goals within assigned budgets.
•    Building and cultivate strong business relationships with key end users and maintain a working profile of opportunities with each end user.
•    Supporting and utilize a distribution network to increase sales throughout your territory.
•    administer marketing programs to end users and participate in special sales and marketing projects.
•    Providing biology and product training to key end users and distribution network.
•    Reporting top opportunities through a strategic monthly review.

If you...

•    Possess a Bachelor’s Degree and your 4+ years' professional sales experience.
•    Have Pest Management industry experience.
•    Have sales experience and formal sales training courses.
•    Have account/territory management/planning experience.
•    Have Sales or Marketing experience in the Pest Management market.
•    Have excellent communication skills and demonstrated ability to influence. As well as Effectively communicating across the business. Excellent public speaking abilities.

Pay Transparency

BASF is committed to pay transparency practices. The competitive Pay Range for this role is $89,600 - $123,200. Actual pay will be determined based on education, certifications, experience, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
