Job Description - Senior Area Sales Manager, Mid-Atlantic Business Travel Sales

Hilton is looking for a Senior Area Sales Manager of Business Travel Sales!   Excellent Compensation package, along with UNCAPPED bonus potential with quarterly bonus structure!

**OPTION TO WORK FULL REMOTE***

We are looking for an experienced individual who knows the D.C. local market especially the luxury market and who can really recognize opportunities to close on BTS sales contracts.  This ideal candidate will eventually oversee 11 other owned and managed hotels within the cluster after a full year of selling this iconic property.  The other hotels included in the cluster encompass the modern and sleek hotels such as the Conrad Washington D.C. and the Hilton Washington D.C. Capital Hill and the more traditional by nature as the Capital Hilton.

Requirements: 

  • 3-5 years of Business Travel Sales Experience in a hotel environment
  • Luxury experience
  • Responsible for attending annual conferences and represent the hotel
  • Extremely organized, have keen follow through with established accounts and experience soliciting new business
  • Experience with Travel Click Agency 360

Highly Preferred: 

  • Delphi FDC 
  • Cluster/Multi Property experience

What Will I Be Doing? 

Increase qualified BTS sales volume by developing key relationships with new BTS accounts, and growing production with assigned existing accounts across the group of hotels represented.   

Essential Functions

  • Develop new BTS accounts via research and connections excluding key national accounts.
  • Negotiate and execute contracts for Volume Accounts
  • Qualify prospects for the hotel and eventually all complexed group of hotels
  • Prepare and present proposals and/or contracts to prospective customers
  • Develop and execute on-site and field presentations to prospective clients and creating that WOW factor
  • Engage in outside sales activities to discuss business opportunities and entertain customers and have a strategic outlook on how to close a contract.  Develop client relationships in the area and work on key untapped resources.
  • Participate in industry related organizations and the local community to develop business
  • Attend departmental meetings and other scheduled meetings to support business
  • Ability to analyze STR report, Travel Click Agency 360, data and use to create action plans to capture all corporate clientele.
