FIRE PROTECTION SERVICE MANAGER
POSITION SUMMARY: The Fire Protection Service Manager is responsible for overseeing the service operations and team for a company's fire protection systems division. This includes managing technicians, scheduling work, ensuring quality control, and maintaining strong customer relationships.

SALARY: $77,000 - $90,000

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage a team of fire protection service technicians who inspect, test, maintain and repair fire alarm, sprinkler and suppression systems
- Schedule service calls and preventative maintenance visits for customers in an efficient manner
- Ensure service work is completed correctly, on time and to customer satisfaction
- Oversee quality control processes and documentation for service reports
- Respond to and resolve any customer complaints or issues in a timely manner
- Maintain inventory of service truck stock and equipment for technicians
- Hire, train and develop skilled fire protection service technicians
- Achieve service revenue and profitability targets for the service department
- Cultivate and grow customer relationships through excellent service delivery
- Collaborate with sales teams on new system installations and retrofits
REQUIREMENTS:
- 3-5 years of management experience, preferably in fire protection service
- Extensive knowledge of fire alarm, sprinkler and suppression system operation
- Ability to read and interpret system drawings, code requirements, etc.
- Strong customer service, communication and problem-solving skills
- Experience with scheduling, dispatching and field service software
- Familiarity with NFPA codes and local fire safety regulations
- Prior hands-on experience as a fire protection technician is preferred
