Job Title : Shipping and Receiving Associate

Job Summary The candidate will be responsible for tasks related to receiving goods and preparing products for shipment in a warehouse setting. They will operate power equipment to move materials and ensure proper documentation and quality of incoming shipments. Even Simpler: The job is like being the person who takes in packages that come into a big storage place (warehouse), checks them to make sure everything is okay, moves stuff around with big machines so that things can be sent out to people or stores.

Skill Requirements

Must-Have:

• shipping and receiving

• Experience with processing finished products

• Ability to operate power operated equipment

• Proficiency in basic data entry and Microsoft Office ( Word , Excel , Outlook)

• Experience operating powered industrial vehicles

Preferred:

• Knowledge of export documentation process

• HazMat certification

• Lift truck certification

Skill Education

• Shipping : The process of sending goods from one place to another.

  • Receiving : The action of accepting delivery of goods.

  • Processing finished products : Refers to the steps taken after manufacturing to prepare items for distribution or sale.

  • Picking and pulling : Selecting specific items from warehouse inventory to fulfill orders.

  • Data entry : Inputting information into computer systems using software like Microsoft Office.

  • Powered industrial vehicles operation : Operating machinery such as forklifts designed for moving heavy loads in warehouses or other settings.

  • Electronic shipments processing: Handling the sending of goods through carriers like UPS, DHL Express, FedEx.

  • Export documentation: Preparing paperwork required for international shipping.

  • HazMat certification: Certification indicating training in handling hazardous materials safely.

  • Lift truck certification: A qualification showing proficiency in operating lift trucks or forklifts.
