Technical Inside Sales Engineer

We are working with a family-owned, modern industrial company looking for a skilled  Technical Inside Sales Engineer in Northern NJ. They offer a 401k match; insurance; paid vacation, sick, and holidays; ongoing training, and a substantial growth rate.

*Must be willing to travel within North America, including Canada, US and/or Mexico; approximately 1 week quarterly (clients visits and trade shows)
*Candidates outside of NJ will need to relocate to be considered

Requirements:

• BS Degree in Electrical Engineering, Business and Project Management, or related field
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the Circuit Protection field focusing on protection for products
• Experience in power electronics and power systems

Experience:

• Working with existing customers and pursuing new customers
• 2 years Technical Sales - Hands-on individual
• Creating and presenting proposals
• Providing commercial and technical assistance to Engineers and representatives
• 2 years in engineering project management
• Microsoft Office, project tracking software and management tools
• Contribute to the development of annual sales strategy and action plans
• Attention to detail, with the ability to simplify complex issues, and relate technical explanations back to the commercial value of the product
• Bilingual (Spanish) a plus
