As a Technical Sales Representative, you will play a crucial role in understanding customer requirements and promoting the sale of our company's products. This position requires extensive technical expertise and the ability to provide sales support for complex equipment such as material handling machinery, numerical-control machinery, and computer systems. The ideal candidate will be adaptable, open to change, and willing to wear many hats in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: Understand customer requirements to promote the sale of company products and provide sales support.
Sell products requiring extensive technical expertise and support for installation and use.
Plan and modify product configurations to meet customer needs.
Confer with customers and engineers to assess equipment needs and determine system requirements.
Prepare and deliver technical presentations to explain products or services to customers.
Arrange demonstrations or trial installations of equipment.
Create sales or service contracts for products or services.
Develop, present, or respond to proposals for specific customer requirements.
Visit prospective buyers at commercial, industrial, or other establishments to inform them about product pricing, availability, and advantages.
Research and identify potential customers for products or services.
Qualifications: Previous technical sales experience is a must.
Strong understanding of technical products and services.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Ability to adapt to change and work in a fast-paced environment.
