Job Description - Vice President of Sales

Based out of our Arizona office, the role of VP Sales / Director of Sales / Head of Sales is pivotal in driving our strategic sales initiatives to foster revenue growth, expand market presence, and achieve ambitious sales targets. The ideal candidate for the VP Sales / Director of Sales / Head of Sales position will possess a proven track record in sales leadership, particularly within the marketing technology sector or similar realms such as AdTech. We are seeking individuals with expertise in selling to Marketing and/or Advertising professionals. Responsibilities of the VP Sales / Director of Sales / Head of Sales include: Crafting and executing strategic sales plans to meet revenue targets and enhance market penetration within the marketing technology sector.
Leading and nurturing a high-performing sales team, offering guidance, mentorship, and support to drive both individual and collective success.
Cultivating enduring relationships with key clients, prospects, and partners to foster business expansion and capitalize on revenue opportunities.
Identifying emerging business prospects and market trends, and devising innovative sales strategies to leverage them effectively.
Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams including marketing, product, and customer success to ensure alignment of sales efforts with overarching business goals and customer requirements.
Analyzing sales metrics and performance data to assess sales effectiveness, pinpoint areas for enhancement, and implement corrective measures where necessary.
Remaining abreast of industry developments, emerging technologies, and competitive trends to inform strategic decision-making and uphold a competitive advantage.
Representing the company at industry events, conferences, and networking forums to advocate for our solutions and enhance brand visibility.
Desired qualifications for the VP Sales / Director of Sales / Head of Sales: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; MBA or equivalent preferred.
Demonstrated success in sales leadership roles, with a track record of achieving targets.
Proficiency in digital marketing, advertising technology, data analytics, and related domains.
Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with a talent for inspiring and motivating sales teams.
Strong analytical acumen and problem-solving capabilities, underpinned by a data-driven approach to decision-making.
Experience in cultivating and sustaining relationships with key stakeholders including clients, prospects, and partners.
Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and adeptness at adapting to evolving market dynamics.
