Responsibilities

Gilbert Urgent Care is part of Dignity Health which includes St. Joseph’s, Chandler Regional and Mercy Gilbert Medical Centers. GUC is one of three Urgent Cares within that system

JOIN US NOW as we are seeking a dynamic Admitting Registrar who is passionate about customer service to facilitate the patient admission flow including activities such as: patient identification including accurate demographic and insurance information and collections of required signatures and documents be responsible for the verification and authorization of insurance benefits in order to obtain accurate and prompt reimbursement provide information and answers questions about the CHW Payment Assistance program collect co-payments patient liabilities and enter all necessary information into the hospital computer system.

Qualifications

Minimum:

High School Diploma or equivalent combination of experience and / or education

One (1) year experience or equivalent combination of experience and / or education in prior authorization pre-certification insurance benefits and how they apply to hospital registration or medical office settings.

Preferred:

Prior experience in hospital admitting or urgent care registration

Current American Heart Association BLS

Pay Range

$18.00 – $20.38 /hour
