Title: APEX Developer

Location: Akron, OH 44333

Duration: 12 Months

Schedule : What schedule is the candidate required to work? 8 hours/5 Days or 10 hours/4 days

Quick description of the role or project story (What this role will be doing):

Working fairly independently, formulates and defines systems scope and objectives. Devises or modifies procedures to solve complex projects, and often multiple phases of a project. Prepares detailed specifications from which programs will be written. Designs, codes, tests, debugs, and documents programs. Works at the highest technical level of all phases of applications systems analysis and programming. Works company wide, in multi-platform environments, on multiple project assignments.

Responsible for design/modification and implementation of company compliance system database.

The work location for this role will be in Ohio (multiple locations available)

Additional Responsibilities may include:

• Creating, modifying, and debugging Oracle APEX applications. (Version 19.1).
• Writing Oracle SQL statements to extract data from databases.
• Creating, modifying, and debugging PL/SQL programs.
• Utilizing JavaScript, CSS, and HTML to enhance APEX applications.
• Interacting with web services utilizing Oracle APEX and PL/SQL.
• Preparing functional and system specifications.
• Developing data models and system designs.
• Developing complex program code.
• Testing application and evaluating results for accuracy, timelines and integrative features.
• Preparing documentation.

What are the top (at least 3 if possible) must have skill sets (technical/functional) which are required?

5+ years of work experience is required in:

o Oracle APEX working knowledge of APEX 19.1 preferred

o JavaScript, jQuery, CSS, and HTML

5+ years of work experience is required in:

o Oracle Database working knowledge of Oracle 19c preferred

o SQL, PL/SQL programming

What are the top nice to have skill sets?

7+ years of work experience is required in:

• Oracle APEX working knowledge of APEX 19.1 preferred
• JavaScript, jQuery, CSS, and HTML

7+ years of work experience is required in:

• Oracle Database working knowledge of Oracle 19c preferred
• SQL, PL/SQL programming
• What soft skill requirements do you have (team fit and personality requirements)?

Skills: Strong designing, development, and troubleshooting skills. Good oral and written communication skills are required.

Abilities: Ability to work on multiple projects/issues simultaneously
