Kelly Science & Clinical has a new, permanent opportunity for an Associate Development Scientist in Louisville, KY!
Shift: M-F 8:00am-5:00pm with flexibility
A Direct Hire Opportunity
Principal Responsibilities:
Plan, execute, and manage color development projects from benchtop to commercialization.
Support innovation projects by planning and executing assigned tasks.
Develop new or modify existing colors through formulation, raw materials, processing, and technologies.
Coordinate evaluation of new products and collaborate with application teams.
Develop analytical methods and operate pilot trials for scale-up and small orders.
Support manufacturing plants, procurement projects, and regulatory compliance.
Maintain lab equipment, uphold safety standards, and ensure compliance with protocols.
Actively participate in Quality Improvement initiatives and utilize company resources responsibly.
Perform other assigned duties.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree + 2 years related experience or Master’s degree.
Strong laboratory experimental skills and knowledge of analytical techniques.
Technical proficiency in specialty area and ability to plan and execute technical projects.
Proficient in operating, maintaining, and organizing lab equipment.
Effective observation and documentation of experimental results.
High standards for laboratory safety, protocols, and Good Laboratory Practices.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Collaborative team player with strong computer and data management skills.
Demonstrated ability to quickly absorb new processes and knowledge.
Must be willing to travel nationally at least 20%
