Audit Associate

Position Overview : The Audit Associate will join a team of dedicated and experienced professionals who provide assurance services to a variety of clients across numerous industries. The Audit Associate must demonstrate technical excellence and problem-solving abilities to complete audit projects in a timely and accurate manner. This position will also require the Audit Associate to be able to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues, as well as research and analyze complex accounting and auditing literature.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform complex audit engagements for a variety of clients in different industries including, but not limited to, government, not-for-profit, healthcare, real estate, manufacturing, professional services, agriculture, and employee benefit plans
• Understand client businesses and the industries in which they operate
• Develop effective audit strategies and plans
• Perform fieldwork and testing related to audit engagements
• Communicate audit results and findings to clients
• Manage multiple engagements concurrently while staying on top of the deadlines
• Update job knowledge by participating in educational and professional opportunities

Qualifications:

• At least one full year of experience with CPA firm
• Knowledge of auditing and accounting principles
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and take initiative
• Proficient with MS Office and accounting software
