Do you want to make a difference in someone's life? We are looking for compassionate employees who want to help individuals with substance use and mental health disorders. We are seeking a full time night shift nurse. (includes 8 and 12 hour shifts) The position includes rotating weekends and holidays. The Bridge Behavioral Health provides withdrawal services, substance use and mental health respite, and residential treatment. Nurses are a critical member of the treatment team. We also like to have fun while we work! Responsibilities include:

• Complete nursing assessments for new clients and utilize ASAM criteria to determine appropriate level of care.
• Assist clinical team with developing individual treatment plans.
• Provide care that meets clients' biophysical, psychosocial, and environmental needs.
• Administer medications and withdrawal management as ordered by Medical Consultant.
• Utilize motivational interviewing techniques to encourage clients to engage in treatment after completion of withdrawal and promote improved health maintenance.
• Educate clients on signs and symptoms of withdrawal, healthy living, managing diabetes, nutrition, smoking cessation, and medication management.
• Perform ongoing physical assessments including CIWAs and COWS and refer patients to Medical Consultant or PCPs as needed to address medications, mental health, and physical health.
• Meet with primary residential clients weekly.
• Communicate with clinical team to facilitate individualized multidisciplinary care plans.

Qualifications include:

• Active RN or LPN license and CPR certification
• Diploma, Associate or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
• Experience working in withdrawal, substance use, and/or mental health is preferred but training will be provided!
