Roles and Responsibilities:

Processes requisitions, which include sourcing, cost and price analysis, and contract or purchase order generation.

• Supplier development that involves new supplier evaluation, existing supplier management, and resolving sourcing issues.
• Develop knowledge for the assigned commodity that covers the market pricing, market make up, trends in the market, and alternative markets or technologies
• Manage open contracts or orders to maintain the needed delivery of goods and services.
• Establish Long Term Agreements or Pricing Agreements that meet the company objectives with regards to cost control and guaranteed supply
• Provide pricing information that will be used to support cost proposals being made to Customer customers.
• The Supply Specialist will be expected to complete the procurement process in a timely fashion.
• This requires knowledge of the supply base, current pricing and market conditions.
• The Supply specialist should expect to have a number of these activities happening simultaneously.
• This workload will require effective time management

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in the field of supply management, engineering, business.

1 + years of progressive experience (usually post-education) in the field of Manufacturing Management

1 + years of progressive experience (usually post-education) in the field of supply chain management

Proven general capabilities in procurement practices.

Proven specific capabilities in understanding and communicating the technical aspects of the goods and services procured.

Hours: 7:30-5 Monday - Friday with every other Friday off. (Off Friday would be 9/80) Potential to move to hybrid after the training period depending on performance.

Pay Range:

The pay range for this position is $35.00-45.00 per hour; however, the pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This pay information is being provided pursuant to applicable law and is based in part on market location.

Please Note:

Must have a valid driver’s license and current state required minimum vehicle insurance coverage to drive onto Client and Company property.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $40.00 - $45.00 per hour

• 8 hour shift
