The Hereafter, a new cocktail bar in Hudson NY, seeks a talented chef to lead it’s dining program. The setting is an intimate lounge with long curved 20 ft bar and cozy booths and antique lighting. The kitchen is an open extension of the bar and its energy will feed into the nights space. The menu has been designed by an Argentinean chef with simple fresh ingredients from our neighboring farms. The plates are small sharing tapas style which reflect seasonal ingredients and responsible farming practices.
We are looking for a chef who has experience and the creativity to manage and develop our dining program. Someone who is familiar with the Hudson Valley and can tap into all the amazing produce and farm products growing here. This person will handle all food preparation and kitchen ordering, as well as train and manage all kitchen staff. Expected hours for this position would be 2-3 days prep and ordering, as well as assisting in part of nighly service 2-3 days a week. The base salary for this position will be $75,000. The right person, with creativity and drive, will grow this role and its benefits.
