Provides individual, couples and group counseling to university students; provides diagnostic assessment and psychotherapeutic services to students regarding problems relating to stress, developmental issues, career, academics, interpersonal concerns, and other mental health issues; conducts and evaluates psychoeducational workshop programs; trains and supervises graduate students in psychology, social work, counselor education, or related fields; conducts research student needs; develops and evaluates programs; participates in professional development and continuing education activities and consults with university personnel. Oversees the psychological assessment process and conducts assessment supervision for doctoral psychology interns.
Required Qualifications:
Doctoral degree in Clinical or Counseling Psychology; Licensure as a Psychologist in the State of Ohio within 18 months of hire; experience in conducting psychological assessments, considerable clinical casework experience in therapy and crisis management; supervised internship or work equivalent experience in university counseling center, mental health agency, or related professional setting; experience providing psychotherapy, diagnostic assessment and outreach; demonstrated commitment to multiculturalism and diversity.
The salary range for this position is $78,000-$81,000.
