Job Description - Community Relations Specialist

Who You Are

You are a driven and empathetic sales professional with a passion for hospice and palliative care. You bring at least two years of experience in sales and a minimum of one year in hospice or palliative care sales. You excel in building strong professional relationships and are excited about being the first person in the market for a new venture. Your communication skills are exceptional, and you are adept at consultative selling. You hold a degree in business, marketing communications, or nursing and possess a valid driver's license and current automobile insurance.

What You'll Do

As a Community Relations Specialist, you will:

  • Establish and cultivate professional relationships with healthcare professionals by providing educational resources and deploying effective sales tactics.
  • Execute the company’s consultative selling strategy to build enduring relationships with targeted referral customers.
  • Collaborate in the development, execution, and evaluation of marketing plans to drive referrals.
  • Solicit referrals while ensuring the delivery of high-quality service.
  • Coordinate public education campaigns and actively participate in community meetings to enhance community engagement.
  • Educate stakeholders on hospice services through regular educational activities.
  • Work closely with clinical and operational teams to set and achieve goals, establish standards, and foster effective communication.
  • Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and support business growth with integrity.
  • Provide insights for developing sales budgets and strive to meet or surpass budgeted targets.
