Job Description - Compensation partner

As a Global Compensation Partner, you will play a critical role in compensation design, management, and analysis based on overall company objectives. This includes: job analysis, evaluation and classification, survey participation, policy, and benefits benchmark and review, and short term and long term incentive plans. This position will report to the Global HR Director, Total Rewards and is designated as hybrid, where there will be the expectation to be in the office 3 days a week. Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and delivery of compensation programs, policies, and projects across the organization.
  • Manage the annual compensation review process, including salary planning, incentive awards, configuration of HRIS (Workday), and communication of compensation outcomes.
  • Policy and strategy implementation for short-term results (1 year or less).
  • Responsible for leveraging Workday to execute PPG global programs and processes by reviewing current process and redesigning process, workflows and current Workday configuration to maximize technology and create efficiencies and transparency that drives a better customer experience.
  • Prepare compensation recommendations for new hires and current employees, providing insight based on knowledge of relevant labor markets and internal relativity.
  • Research compensation trends and conduct market analysis to ensure programs are aligned with the competitive market.
  • Review compensation policies to ensure continued alignment with legislation and best practice.
  • Use compensation data to provide thoughtful analysis and insight to drive recommendations, with the ability to present outcomes to business leaders in a concise manner.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or related field or equivalent experience.
  • 10+ years of compensation design, administration, and implementation experience.
  • Deep and comprehensive knowledge of retention/project bonuses, base pay, short-term incentive design and long-term incentive devices/programs required.
  • Workday experience is highly preferred.
  • Understanding of compensation trends, pay equity, compensation administration and financial modelling with the ability to present and train individuals on compensation topics.
