Concrete Estimator Qualifications

• 2 years of experience as an Estimator on concrete construction projects including structural concrete, flatwork, tilt-wall, and architectural.
• Strong communication skills, able to lead meetings with clients
• Proficient in Exel, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office, Vista, and experience with BuildingConnected is preferred
• Construction Management or an Engineering degree is preferred

Concrete Estimator Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate and detailed estimates for commercial concrete projects
• Review project plans, specifications, and blueprints to determine construction requirements
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to assess project scope and identify potential issues
• Obtain and evaluate quotes from subcontractors and suppliers to ensure competitive pricing
• Create comprehensive cost analyses and take-offs, including materials, labor, equipment, and overhead
• Coordinate with vendors to acquire necessary materials and ensure timely delivery to project sites
