Job Description - Content Director

As the architect of our content and digital landscape, you’ll be responsible for weaving a compelling brand narrative that positions our brands as the ultimate destinations across the digital sphere.

Content & Storytelling Authority:

· Strategic Visionary: Develop and implement a comprehensive content strategy that aligns with our overall business objectives and target audience preferences.

· Storytelling Architect: Craft a cohesive brand narrative that captures the essence of each brand’s unique identity and guest experience.

· Trend Hunter: Stay at the forefront of hospitality trends, content marketing best practices, and social media engagement strategies.

· Content Mastermind: Lead the creation and execution of high-quality content across various formats, including social media content calendars, engaging blog posts, email marketing campaigns, website copywriting, and captivating video stories.

· Creative Collaborator: Work collaboratively with Creative Director and Sr. Brand Manager bring your content vision to life.

· Brand Guardian: Ensure brand consistency across all content platforms, maintaining strict adherence to brand guidelines.

· Content Performance Analyst: Establish and manage key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of content initiatives, making data-driven decisions for optimization.

Digital Marketing Leadership:

· Social Media Strategist: Develop and oversee social media strategy across all platforms (Instagram, FB, TikTok, LinkedIn etc.), focusing on building engaged communities, driving brand awareness, and highlighting guest experiences.

· Data-Driven Marketer: Analyze social media, website analytics, and other digital marketing performance metrics to identify trends and optimize content and marketing strategies.

· SEO / SEM Champion: Oversee search engine optimization (SEO) efforts for our hotel websites, ensuring organic visibility and increased website traffic.

· Email Marketing Champion: Develop email marketing strategy with Digital Marketing Manager to drive engagement and convert website visitors into reservation/bookings.

· Integrated Marketing Leader: Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to develop and execute integrated digital marketing campaigns that drive leads, brand awareness, and direct bookings/reservations.

· Technology Advocate: Stay informed about the latest content marketing technologies and tools, recommending and implementing solutions to enhance content creation, management, and distribution.

Leadership and Team Management:

· Inspiring Leader: Lead and mentor a team of social media managers and digital marketing managers, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented environment.

· Strategic Delegation: Delegate tasks effectively, empowering your team to take ownership and achieve their full potential.

· Performance Management: Provide constructive feedback and guidance to help your team members develop their skills and advance their careers.

· Communication Champion: Foster open communication within your team and across departments to ensure everyone is aligned with content and digital marketing goals.

You are the Ideal Candidate if You Have:

· 10+ years of experience in social media marketing, digital marketing, or a related field, with a strong focus on the hospitality industry.

· Proven track record of developing and executing successful digital marketing campaigns that drive engagement, brand awareness, website traffic, and bookings for hospitality brands.

· Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, inspire, and mentor a team of content creators and digital marketing specialists.

· Demonstrated expertise in content marketing best practices, social media marketing strategies, SEO/SEM principles, and email marketing for the hospitality industry.

· Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data insights into actionable content and marketing strategies.

· Excellent communication , collaboration, and project management skills.

· A keen eye for visual storytelling and a basic understanding of design principles (bonus points for experience with photo editing software!).
