Corporate Attorney

Our AV-rated law firm is seeking an experienced corporate attorney to join our prestigious business and corporate law practice. This career opportunity offers professional growth, sophisticated corporate matters, and a supportive team environment.

Responsibilities:

• Handle complex transactions, shareholder agreements, operating agreements, non-compete agreements, and executive compensation matters
• Provide strategic counsel on business formation, corporate governance, and commercial contracts
• Advise clients on regulatory compliance and risk management strategies
• Participate in business dispute resolution through negotiation and litigation
• Draft, review, and negotiate a range of corporate/commercial agreements and documents
• Develop and maintain productive client relationships

Requirements:

• 5+ years of corporate and business law experience at a reputable firm
• Juris Doctor degree and admission to the Maryland Bar (D.C. and Virginia Bar admission a plus)
• Exceptional writing, analytical, verbal communication, and presentation abilities
• Demonstrated capacity to exercise sound legal judgment and attention to detail
• Talent for explaining complex legal concepts clearly and persuasively
